1. The first poop doesn't smell
The black, tar-like stuff that comes out with the first process that emerges in the new baby is called meconium and consists of mucus, uterine fluids and anything else that has been digested when the fetus is inside the mother's womb.

However, newborns do not yet have the intestinal bacteria that make the feces smell foul. Once you start feeding the baby, the bacteria will begin to colonize their intestines. After a day or so the normal bowel movement begins and the stool begins to brown green, yellow or brown.

2. Sometimes babies stop breathing
When babies sleep, they may stop breathing for 5 to 10 seconds, which is enough time to make the mother and father panicky, but irregular breathing is normal, but if your baby stops breathing longer or turns blue, it is a medical emergency. Children who are excited or crying may take more than 60 breaths per minute.

3. The tonsils have taste buds
Although the baby has the same number of food sensors as children, young adults and adults, it covers more areas, including tonsils and the back of the throat.

The newborn can taste sweet, sour and sour but not salty until about five months, and when he begins to eat solid will tend to love the foods that were consumed by the mother during pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding.

4. Crying without tears at first
Children start to cry in the second or third week, but tears do not appear until the first month of life. In the late afternoon and early evening, crying often results in noise and discomfort, often without cause.

The peak of crying is about 46 weeks, or 6 to 8 weeks for children in the full term, and after 3 months the crying episode has usually passed because newborns are getting older.

5. Newborns have a breast
When they are born, both boys and girls have a small breast, and the milk may leak out of it too, but do not try to squeeze those small lumps that appear as breasts.

These breasts are formed because children absorb estrogen from the mother, but these small breasts will disappear on their own within a few weeks, and in newborns these girls may continue to appear slightly longer than males a few days.

Only 15% of newborns prefer to tilt their heads to the left as they sleep on their backs. The explanation for this condition appears to be related to the presence of a particular gene and will last for a few months.

They have more brain cells. the child's brain is larger, twice as large as the first year, so it contains more nerve cells that carry electrical messages, and links between neurons begin to contract in older children, helping them focus but also lessen creativity.

8. Male babies have an erection
This is also normal. The hormones of the baby and the mother play a role, as well as the role of bruising or swelling of the birth process.

9 - panic and panic of themselves
Newborns can be alarmed by loud, strong smell, bright light, sudden movement, and even from their own screams.

10. Some birthmarks will disappear
The so-called "
Stork sting" or "angel kisses," a pink or red area often appearing on the forehead, eye lids, nose and neck from behind.

Mongolian spots, bluish flat spots look like ink spots on the back of the bottom, usually fade within a few years and the cause of their appearance is unknown.

A strawberry-like redness may also appear due to fast-growing blood vessels. These symptoms appear over several weeks and take several years to disappear.
